    Cimarron/Pietta revolver

    Hello
    To Anyone who has the Cimarron/Pietta Nickle laser engraved SAA. Is the cylinder bushing removable or pressed in.

    I 'think' it's removeable - with Italian stuff it's hard to always know - check the parts diagram on VTI's website to be certain.

    Does Cimarron do any work on the guns here in the US or is everything done in Italy?

    I also wonder how the case hardening is done on these guns as compared to Colt.

    The Uberti / Pietta revolvers are not case-hardened. It is a chemical finish.

    Cimarron does do addtional work on some the Uberti line of revolvers. If you go to Cimarron's website there is information on which revolvers get upgrades. I know the El Patron revolver gets this treatment and the work is very good giving you a well timed and slick revolver.
