Colt AR-15A2 Sporter

Hi, just got myself a fine AR-15A2 Sporter, a civilian version of the famous M16. Need to get a feedback from you Colt people who are familiar with or own this weapon - what mould be the best selection for the optical scope to mount on picatinny rail on top of the carrying handle for 100 yds. target shooting?

Any input and advise appreciated.
