I am considering buying a Colt 6721 from a dealer in my state. His price is over $1600.00. A search on gunbroker revealed that most dealers are asking in the same price range. However none seem to be selling at that price. I tried searching the completed and ended auctions and found little evidence of any rifles being sold. I was under the impression that the demand for these weopans was fairly high, yet none appear to be sold at the $1500+ price. This is a long winded way of asking what a fair price would be. I intend to make an offer but I want to know if my analysis is way off base. I don't want to appear insulting to this dealer. Thank you for your help.

Thank you gentlemen for your responses. Unfortunately it is a moot question at this time. An unexpected expense has arisen and laid claim to my "discretionary fund". Maybe next month!
