.22 M-Forgery

I didn't want to high jack the other thread so I start a new one. I have an M-Forgery in 5.56 and was wondering if there was some kind of aftermarket .22 system that could be inserted and, if so, what are the up-sides and down-sides? Thanks in advance.

I have read some pretty good news about CMMG, their .223/5.56 rifles and their .22 conversion kits. No personal experience though.
