Maybe a Colt AR 614 full auto???

For the last few years I been getting a few Class III guns, but I have not got a Full Auto just yet. Something I wanted for a very long time.

Well I sen a add for a few gun (guy has 9 of them) they are the Colt AR15 614. The older AR15 that Colt made in Full Auto. A1 uppers, just something from the Old School!!

The guns are from 70% to 80%. What do you all think about this???? The price is right at 12K.

Any words for what you guy think??? Let me know. Thank you for your time. JB

If you can afford it, you will like your purchase. It appears if the gun states M16 on it, they bring more only because most customers want it to say M16. The gun you are looking at is still a Colt factory machine gun and as such will always be worth more than a converted AR15-SP1. You can slap as vast array of uppers on it to your liking. I have the 20" in A1 upper, the 11.5" commando upper and the 10.5" 9mm submachinegun upper with magwell adapter. I still don't have a 22LR upper yet for mine but several choices are now available such as a AM180 type arrangement. If I had to get rid of all but one machine gun, my M16A1 would probably be the one I keep. Go to both subguns.com and sturmgewehr.com and do a search for which full auto to get for a first purchase. You will find several recommending a M16 just because of all the options available.

Thank you for the heads up. I wanted a m-16 for years, but now I also want a HK sear for my MP5 SBR, and my 93. Just so many out here to pick from.

The good thing on the HK sear is i can put it into many guns. The 614, that is it. So right now I just dont know.

Colt 614 's was some cheap guns back in the 1980's and 1990's. You could purchase one for about $1200. I took several of these transferable machine guns in trade w/ Police Dept's giving them new restricted M-16A2's back in that timeframe. These guns was sold to Law Enforcement here in the US, after Colt didnt have sales to export, so they sold off their supply here. (The 614 was a export model of the 604 if I remember correctly) they are great weapon....of course now anything transferable that says Colt (factory) is a $12,000 plus weapon........
