Sear blocks

What year did colt start using sear blocks in the AR 15. I have a Colt Sporter Match H-bar with no sear block ser # MH-0033xx. Colt says it was manufactured in 1990, but I think I bought it in 1987 or 88. I can't remember exactly. Does anyone know?

From all I have read and all the guns I have had over the years, They did not start tell AFTER the '89 gun ban. A few pages I look at, the Blue Label gun did not start tell 1991. I am not 100% sure of this bu the Blocks did not start tell the Blue Label came out. Now I have a friend that has a Green Label 9mm Colt AR and it dose have a block in it. So its hard to say. I hear that the label run tell the ran out even with the Sear Blocks, I have also seen a R6600 with out then Bayo lug. So Colt did not do it all over night.

I recall the label on the box as being green. Mine also doesn't have a bayonet lug. Mine must have been an early version of the H-Bar.
