I guess it is a Colt long gun.....

Although it is pretty short! Long on cool though!!

1980 NIB Colt SP1 carbine, slab sided, non FA Aluminum colapsable stock, chrome bore on and on. Got all packaged accessoriews and then some with it plus the box and papers.

    I got,
rifle, 2 20rd factory mags, one 40 rd Armalite mag with instructions, and an Aimpoint Electronic III sight with AR carry handle mount and all pictured accessories.
    LOVE it!

Sorry for the bad pic, but the rifle is cherry and never fired. Obviously, the box has seen better days!

    Congrats

Hmm, NIB? You didn't state if you are going to shoot it. If you don't you are missing out on one fun time. The F/A is something that really isn't needed in the civilian non-full auto world. In fact on my registered M16A1 the foward assist made it harder to get get out a stuck round (incorrectly sized reload). After you get it sighted in, these are fun guns to plink with. Your gun probably has only the 2 position stock. If you don't want to modify the stock tube you can get a newer 4 position tube that will make this gun size to any shooter. I have not met a kid yet that didn't like firing a short AR. For semi auto shooting I really like the 20 round mags. If one had a crystal ball we would have bought cases of .223 when it was $139 per 1000.

I do not even want to hear about ammo being $139 a case with me getting a Full Auto!! lol

SniperX- That is a very sweet looking Rifle! I got a R6600K that is NIB and when I bought it, I was going to make a shooter out of it. I just could not do it to a NIB Colt like that.

I have had probably a dozen ARs now. And this one is one of the sweetest because of the non FA, slab side, pencil barrel, and so on. Yes, the stock is only two position but I will shoot it fully extended. I was hesitant to shoot it but thought what the heck! It isn't worth much to a collector I wouldn
t think after looking at prices and asking questions, in fact, not much more than a box stock Bushmaster so I think I'll just keep it and shoot the heck out of it. BTW I did buy 2K rounds of .223 when it was like 149 per thousand rounds.
