Colt ar15 sporter ii carboard boxes

Hi everyone,

I own a Colt AR15 SPORTER II rifle in .222 Rem (made for the european market) as NIB that unfortunatley came without the original cardboard box and manual and papers.

Do you know where to buy the original cardboard box? (I have tried ebay with no success)

Good morning Oscar,

Just the caliber, about 20 years ago Colt made a small batch of Sporters in .222 Rem caliber intended for the european market (mainly France, although a few dozens reached Italy and Spain).

In that time .223 Rem was ilegal for civilian use in the above three mentioned european countries. Nowadays, .223 Rem is legal for civilian use in France and Italy, However Spain still have restrictions on .223 Rem and .308 Win for civilian use.
