Colt LE 6940 or SP 6940

I know they are both the same.....but which one should I get ???The price is the same for both??This is my first AR purchase... I know I want the quality of ColtI welcome all help

Thanks for explaining that.. good info. It sounds like the 6920 with it's removable handle is the better choice.

Belay my last! For some reason I thought you had said "6920 or 6940". The SP6940 and LE6940 are of equal quality. The only difference will be the roll marks on the left side of the magazine well. Also, the LE6940 will have a "LE/Mil/Gov Use Only" roll mark on the right side of the magazine well.

Sorry if my first response was confusing. I was confused as well.
