Colt / FRANCHI semiauto shotgun

Can anyony tell me where i can a stock and forearm for the shotgun. I already try numerich gun part corp. they are sold out. This shotgun is reciol driven can I install the stock for a gas operated shotgun.

Have you tried Franchi? I believe they are combined with another gun company now. I was able to get them on the phone at one time as I needed an ejector. Even though the M48 12 gauge had been discontinued, they had the part but in this case would only sell it to a FFL or a distributor. While contemplating that I was able to find 2 of them on of all places ebay. Since the buttstock houses a recoil spring, you would have to modify a buttstock off of something else. If your wood is cracked or broken, several people advertise that they can repair cracks. Also, a company that advertised in gunlist that sold shotgun barrels and shotgun stocks but I can't find any issues of gunlist right now. good luck

The Franchi Model 48 has NOT been discontinued. They are now part of the Benelli family of companies. See here:

I am sure you can buy a Franchi stock that will fit your Colt/Franchi shotgun.

Good catch Judge, but I was refering to the 12 GAUGE M48 beig discontinued, not the other gauges.

You said what you meant, and I read what I thought you said. Sorry. I suspect that parts for the 12-gauge are available from the Benelli parts system.
