I found a company making these detachable barrel forend kits for ARs. I bought one and had it installed. It sets up in less than one minute. In its' box it is haeavy to carry but the concealability makes up for the weight. The briefcase is setup in such a way as to allow you to keep two coupled mags in the weapon.
