Congrats on your new acquisition! There are lots of good scope options out there. The more you tell us about what you plan on using your new rifle for, the better recommendations we will be able to give![]()

Hey William
Thanks for the reply. I have a few ARs I keep them without optics because they are M4s this one I would like to target shoot 200 to 300 yards. I would not rule out a Predator hunt with it some day.
Ironically I have a Bushmater in basically same configuration but when I got a chance to get a Colt well you know the reast....
This is no slam at a Bush for sure
Normally I like compact objective scopes but I think I am going to do a 4x 14 by 40 obj
Hank
There are plenty of quality scopes out there that are adequate for hunting and target shooting. I've owned a couple of Leupolds. They were nice scopes, but I never really had a chance to push them. The only brand that I can recommend from personal experience is Trijicon. I've seen scopes in their ACOG series take a lot of abuse and keep working fine. The ACOG's may not fit your bill as far as variable power and objective lens size, but Trijicon makes other quality scopes- like the Accupoint series- that seem more like what you're looking for.
