    Post sporter II configuration

    I bought a colt sporter II it has an A2 20'' barrel with bayonet lug and flash hider fwd assist and case deflector and this throws me A2 rear sight.SN# SP3043xx parts rifle or correct from colt also large pin receivers upper and lower

    Third version of the Sporter II are found with both types of rear sights. With that SN it's probably original. As for the large pins, I'm guessing you are talking about the take down pins, which would be normal. If you are talking about fire control pins, they should be .155". The .170" pins did not come until later.
