Question Received a mystery box, had a set of Colt Revolver Grips, NEED HELP

Okay so last night a buddy that ins't into guns gave me his fathers old shooting range bag because he knew I would appreciate it more than he would. So in the bag there was some old ear muffs and plugs and a pachmayr box. I looked into the box that showed black grips and there was a set of wooden grips which I figured were the ones his father replaced. I have tried asking the guys on Facebook on different gun groups but they all said to go to a colt forum.. ANY info on these would be appreciated and any estimated value would also be nice because if they are worth more than I thought I would like to give my buddy the option of keeping them!! THANKS!!

The grips original to the box go to a Colt J frame which is Trooper Mklll but I do not believe the wood grips are for that gun.

Pictures aren't great but those look like factory stocks for the later parkerized Agent.
