Here is a current auction on Gunbroker.
Anybody know where to obtain 32 long Colt ammo or brass!
I was given a Colt Police Positive manufactured in 1908 from a friend and am in need of ammo thanks.
Cabela's sells a .32 H&R. You will have to research it to see if it is interchangeable. It is a cowboy load so should be low pressure.

That is a tough one. The .32 H&R is not interchangable. Gad Custom Reloading sells the bullets but I do not think he has the brass. You will need to call and discuss your needs with the owner. Ask for Bernold at 715-748-0919. Bernold is very knowledgable and helpful. Good Luck on this one.
bernold's got the .32 short colt, which will chamber and is the same bore size, though the ballistics are less than ideal.
Tell us what your barrel states. If it is stamped 32 Colt NP, then you will need 32 S&W Long ammo which is much easier to find.
Collector's Weaponry of Dallas, TX claims to have .32 Long Colt brass. They can be reached at:
Keep us apprised as to how these folks are for service, etc. I have never orderd from them before, but have their name on a list of suppliers of obsolete ammo and supplies. I am wondering if they are any good.
I thought the 32 Long Colt was the same thing as the 32 S&W Long.
So did I when I purchased a little Colt New Pocket Transitional. Got home from the Dallas Market Hall gun show with it that day and dug out some boxes of .32 S&W Long I had squirreled away. She no fitt-y! Chamber diameter is just enough smaller in diameter that the .32 S&W Long won't even begin to fit.
I went into the .32 Colt hand loading business with a set of C&H dies and a supply of bullets from Gad. Great fellow with which to deal!

I'm going to a small gun show this weekend and know if an exhibitor there who had a box or two of the .32 Short Colt. If he still has some I could put him in touch with you. Please advise.
There is a good possibility that your Colt revolver will accept the .32 S&W family of cartridges. Be sure you really need to bother with obtaining the .32 Colt rounds before taking the trouble.
