Colt Single Action chambered in 45 Colt that was shipped to Walter Tips in Austin, Texas in 1896.

I'm currently trying to add another, but earlier, Texas shipped Colt to the stable.

I just got this N.I.B. Python Elite in last week and was real excited to add it to the rest of my Python collection.I really was wanting anther 4 inch barrel but as the Elite's have got harder to find i decided not to pass on it.

Picked up this Officers Model Special two weeks ago at Cabellas, East Hartford for $359. and it shoots .38 better than my Python, 1", one hole groups at 15yards with .38 wadcutters. I am very happy with it.

    Colt SAA 3rd 7 1/2 45 Colt

I had all I needed with the 5 1/2 in. barreled models but could not pass on this one from another forum member. This is flat out the most accurate revolver I have other than the python or officers models. It shoots a perfect 10 ring group at 25 yards with 9 grains unique and the Lyman 454190 bullet at 250 grains. 900 FPS average and the long barrel makes the recoil very managable. I was going to pass this one on to my friends for what I paid but they may have to wait a long time.
