    Record for Lawman MKV ?

I saw one of Lumberjacks auctions on GB for a Blued snubby MKV went for $2,225 wow and nice! He also has a Nickel version no box and thats over 2k already....his guns are always nice and i have bought a few. Do you think the MKV snubbys are going to stay north of 2k? I have a NIB MK 2 blued and a nickel one NIB which i always thought would be collectable.

Lumberjack2 has a very dedicated batch of followers and his auctions routinely bring top dollar. Most of this is due to his reputation and item quality, that is absolutely top notch. I suspect that some of his clients rarely buy from other GB sellers. That being said, I expect the MKV snubbys to continue their rise in value but maybe not to the "standard" often set by Tom.

Yep, gotta love the MKV snub . The nickel Lawman MKV snubs were only made for 2 years and not easy to come by NIB. Here's mine from 1983. I think they look much better with the V combat walnut stocks (which they now sport) than the service stocks.

Hello Marko65, hold on to those guns! The Lawman Mark V in nickel, that Tom had for auction was purchased by me for just a shade over $2K! However,
Tom thought that it should have sold for $3K! Last year, he sold the exact same gun without the box or paperwork for $4K!! Yes the market can be
fickle and sometimes a person will bid because they "must" have the gun regardless of price or reason! but I believe that the vast majority of guns that
Tom offers are so exceptional and extraordinary in terms of condition they set the benchmark, couple that with Tom's stellar reputation and it's a win win
situation for all concerned. By the way, in the two years that the Mark V 2" was produced only 100 or so, were in nickel.
