Wow that is an incredible amount of work for no reason......unless the agency required a gun be "unserviceable" to be gifted at retirement. We used to do that in the Army for special retirements if we could get the right maintenance warrant officer to sign off that a pistol was destroyed as unserviceable. But we didn't actually destroy it, just on paper. What a shame that as done to such a low production revolver.
I found the cheaper poor man's version Border Patrol last year. Basically a Trooper.
They still didn't make too many of these in Nickel. Little over a thousand of them.
Sorry about that. I had to go silent on the previous topic due to reasons of "financial insecurity" and perhaps being just a bit too paranoid on a recent turn of events on GB.
