Price check, Colt New Frontier .22/.22 mag

I may have the chance to pick up a NIB/ANIB Colt New Frontier .22/.22 mag. Revolver is circa 1976 vintage, color case hardened, 12" barrel IIRC. Revolver is complete with paper work, tools(?) and box. What is the approximate value of such a revolver?

    Colt New Frontier

Twelve inch barrel? Colt New Frontier .22 revolvers were made with 4.4, 4.75, 6 and 7.5 inch barrels. If the gun indeed has a 12 inch barrel, then it is something strange and probably not factory original.
If, however, it has a standard length barrel and in the condition described, value might be around $650 to $750.

I have never seen a 12" on the N.F. 22 either. 7.5 buntline is the longest I've seen and Buck's accurate on the price. Collector retail may bring a slightly higher premium NIB.

I haven't seen the revolver in a few months. My first instinct was to say that it was a 7.5 inch barrel, so I am guessing that that is the length.
