    No, Im not going to touch it. I am debating about whether or not to get a Colt letter, then sending it to auction. Or maybe Ill let the next owner figure it out.

    Yes, thank you, I did note the auctions you linked, that was helpful. I'm going to be watching those, if for no other reason than it will be interesting.

    I saw (via artfact.com) that Poulin has sold one before, it went in the 7k range. If you log on you can search their former sales. I dont know that it was much nicer than the two originals on Poulins site, so it should be fun to watch to see how they do.

    As an aside, did you see the Colt 1877 "Partly Cloudy, Chance of Showers" model in .22 LR caliber being offered across from poulin at Julia's? I'd never heard of a .22 M1877 before today.
