Colt King Cobra - Blue Six Inch - What's It Worth?

I am hoping to find some pricing guidance for a King Cobra, 6", Blue. The KC is factory fired only with blue plastic case and all paperwork. It does not have the Colt outer box and no box label.

Seller wants $900, which sounds reasonable to me but wanted to check with some of you King Cobra owners/collectors.

I came across this KC, while buying a Python from this seller. I do not have any KCs and do not know a great deal about them. It seems that 6" blue version is less common; at least I have not seen many in my research.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Yes, it looks like a blue hammer and trigger. I have not seen the gun, just the photo. I do not yet have a serial number and therefore no date of manufacture.

By the way, I have done business with this seller and have been treated very well. He has given me absolute return privileges on guns I've purchased from him (have not sent any back yet).

I just recently sold a used 6" SS KC for $825 and it was in no way nib.$900 for one that appears to be nib is reasonable taking into account that it is blue.JMO

I have owned quite a few KC's lately and still have some. The blued guns are hard to find, but I think that is a little high for that gun. It is TOP Money. The gun is definetly factory original though. The only problem is without the outer sleeve, it really doesn't have a box from a collector stand point. I would not pay a penny more than 800 for that gun. If it had the outer sleeve then I would pay 900, but not without. JMHO.

big gus, thank you for bringing me back to reality. Yes, I need that outer sleeve and a label to make it work for me. I think I am going to pass on this one.

Thanks for all the help guys!

Here is my early first year production 4" blue King Cobra. I can attest to the fact that it was much harder to find than my 4" stainless King Cobra:

Most definetly the blued are alot harder to find. I go to alot of gun shows and gun shops and I would say I see about 10 stainless KCs to every blued KC. Those are 2 beautiful Colts you have there!
