Kinda hard to give an opinion on your deal, since you didn't give any details. Nice looking revolver, though. Box, papers, anything else?
I know nearly nothing about Pythons. I believe I got a good deal on this. Although I cannot take a good pic of nickel guns, finish is IMO 99%. I know the stocks are cheesy. Proofhouse puts it at about 1978. Opinions, please.
Thanks

No box, papers, just what you see. The gun has moderate flame cutting. The action is perfect IMO. Gave $1000. Just hoping I wasn't way out of the ballpark....
If there are any other details needed, I would be glad to try and provide them.
Thanks
I think you did pretty good at that price. Enjoy! You've just caught the Colt Bug -- You will be buying more!!

You got a great deal at $1,000. I would have paid substantially more for it. But, for now, I have enough Pythons.
Nice Snake and a Good price!
Python prices are crazy these days. $1000 was a great deal. You could probably sell it next year for $1500 at the rate the prices are climbing.

You know, I love how original target stocks look on the Python--Mine are 2nd generation "Smiley face" style.
I'm almost afraid to admit that those pearl stocks on yours have a really oddly COOL look!
I also think that those stocks look good with the nickel. They fit well together.
