sounds like a plan. what's TB?
The 51 DS in 32 NP (AKA 32 L) has been in the shop for over a month to be reblued, and the guy said it would take a month or less -- why do they insist on always underestimating the time ? ?
Shooting with my buds this morning, and they asked me when I was going to get it out of the shop, they would like to see it, and I went back to the shop and told the guy to let me have it back, and call me when he was ready to start on it -- I can be enjoying shooting it instead of it resting in the 'smith's safe . . .
Tried three loads, all in the 32 L case, all with 2 grains of TB, one load with a .33 lead ball, (about 50 grains, I think) one with a Hornady .309 90 grain XTP, and one with a 32 LFP, 100 grains, single action and double action, and honestly, all the targets looked identical, almost -- the Hornady XTP shot a just slightly tighter group.
I've got some 110 gr .308 Sierra MJFBHP, and plenty of .308 110 gr FMJ and SPRN stuff, so I'll find out what the little 2" barrel likes to spit out best -- it's fun to shoot, and the 2 grains of TB, even with the 100 grain 32 LFP is amazingly mild, recoil-wise.

.32 New Police? Was it an old Policewoman's gun? I think the LAPD issued .32 NP (Long Colt) to policewomen
