    Colt 1917 45 acp

    someone had it nickeled at some point.....what would it be worth as is?....

    Grips are wrong and maybe other issues. With refinishing maybe $250 I would say.

    oh i know it's not a collector piece....so 250 is it?

    If the grips are original Colt rather than modern plastic, if the bore is very good and function is right, I'd go $375.

    $375 is OK if you like it. If you are just getting it to resell and makes some money, pass on it.

    Yes, $375 is too high to pay. If the stocks are originals, they might be worth $100, and the gun another hundred as a shooter. I would not buy it at any price over the value of the stocks, and then only if I needed them.
