    .41 cal colt

Can anyone please refer me to a site to help ID my .41 cal Colt single action revolver. I was told at a gun show it was issued in 1906. Stamped on the frame under the cylinder is (on 2 lines )
    PAT.SEPT.19.1871
    JULY2.72.Jan.19.75
It carries a 6 digit serial # the first 3 numbers being 220.
My email is Majorcasemully@aol.com. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you probably have a 1st Generation Single Action. If it has a serial number of 220XXX it was more than likely shipped in 1902. If you'll post high quality high resolution pictures on this forum showing all markings and features we will be able to answer your questions.
