Fire-Blue Trigger

Picked up this little Police Positive dirt-cheap as kind of a project gun as it was really, really filthy and showed some finish issues which I wanted to practice on. You can imagine my surprise when after starting a clean-up I found this level of fire-blue on the trigger (same on the other side and on the back of the hammer). I've also found a bright, shiny bore and chambers. Depending upon how much of the light brown/rust-like surface I can clean away from the stylized "C" on the other side I may have picked up a little gem as opposed to what I thought initially. I sure like the look of the fire-blue finish on these early Colts.
