Not much to identify you said it all.The Lawman mkIII is basically a Trooper MKIII without rear sights. That's a fine looking gun.If I read proofhouse right it was made in 1971.The stocks look original to the gun. That's about all I can tell you.D*
Hello,
I was referred by a Calguns user and was told you guys know everything about Colt guns. My grandfather passed away and left me with a couple of guns, and nobody in the family are gun owners. I'm looking to sell it after I learn more about it. I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of gun it is and the value of it. Location - Los Angeles, CA.
The barrel says Lawman Mk III 357 Magnum CTG. Serial number J603**.
Here are pictures of it:
Thanks for any help you might give!

If you keep doing what you always did you will always get what you always got
Thanks Daryl. Any idea of what I could expect to get for it?
Your best bet is to look on Gunbroker and see if there are any listed. Please note, that some are listed with high prices. What you want is to do an advance search for completed auctions. Then see those that have sold and the actual selling price. Off hand I'd say $400.00 to $500.00 - Someone else may differ.
