    1 of 100 Python from 1964

I found this 1964 Python at the gun show this past weekend, and just picked it up this afternoon. Very, very nice condition with what I believe (hope?) are the correct original grips.

But what makes it 1 of 100 you may ask? Serial number 35718. I kinda like the idea of my new .357 Magnum Python having a s/n beginning in 357! I know it is a stretch, but to my way of thinking that makes it a 1 of 100. I like it!

Grips are the correct Second Type Target grips for a 60's Python.

    Nice gun.

I like it! Looks like a good honest gun and I'll go along with your 1 in 100 idea! Hey, you didn't get that down at the Kankakee show did you?? I was suppose to go, but missed it! If I saw that I'd a probably grabbed it also.

Right you are, I got it at the Kankakee show. It's a bit of a drive down there for me but I've had a bit of luck there recently.

Very well done. IF serial numbers are any indication Colt made 22,000+ Python's between your 1964 and my 1966. WOW !!! Can that be right?
