    Nickel funny looking Bankers special

gunbroker item no. 270045424 Looks like a early postwar D frame PPS (short ejector rod) with a bankers special barrel installed? This can't be factory.

I sent an email, telling them about it being a made up gun, but got no response at all. I did bid on it, but won't go any higher.

He has added information stating it is a Police Positive from 1919 with a changed barrel. Sounds like an honest guy.

I think the price is getting pretty high for what it is. Not that I haven't overpaid for a lot of guns that I just "had to have"
    I'm getting better though...

Nice to see the seller was up front about what the revolver is and made the change in description.
Lot's of sellers would not give a crap.

Yeah, he didn't answer me, but now I see he added to the description. I did throw a couple of bids on iit. His shop is known for being one of the better ones. It's not big, but they get some neat stuff now and then.

I bid on it too, but it's over the price I'm willing to pay now. Hope a forum member pick's it
    up though.
