    Trooper hammers

Were the hammers on the Troopers (1960) in the white or blued??? My Trooper hammer is a blued target style.

Like all Colt revolver hammers, they were first blued and then polished bare on the sides. A completely blued hammer is often taken as an indication that the entire gun has been refinished.

A1A is correct. I own a refinished '68 and an unmolested '68. The refinished hammer is blued the other is not.
