Sent My Python to Colt

Shipped my 4" Python shooter to Colt's today for refinish. Had picked this one up sometime ago when Python prices weren't sky high - although I didn't think so at the time. If I only knew then, what I know now...

Going for the Royal Blue treatment. Colt's said $325 plus return shipping. A little worried about the UPS people, but can only trust that the snake will make it back home OK. Now being patient will be the problem.

You will need to just forget that it is @ Colt.I am up to six months on my Detective Special refinish.Learned on the forum that they only have 150 employees so guess they can only go so fast LOL

Wdkline, I did exactly the same thing with a Diamondback .38 last summer. They priced me the same. Took almost
exactly 3 months. UPS handled it fine both ways. Relax, you will be SOOO happy the day that box comes back.

I waited from July 1st, to October 22nd, for my Python refinish. The last three weeks really dragged out. Glad I did, though. Worth every penny.
