Python info requested

I've been requested to sell a close friends python.
As much as I love guns The values on these seem to be all over the place and they are not my forte
Can I get an estimate on a fair sale price? maybe year of manufacture?
Serial # is T200XX
A few pictures it has a faint drag line but doesn't seem to have been shot much.

T200XX was made in 1983.

Assuming it's a stainless model they start these days at $1000, and often $1200.

Value gets downgraded slightly for lack of original factory grips. Value would get upgraded if the original box and all papers is with it.
