    Thumb safety

    New to site. I have a new combat commander xse ,thumb safety falls off ,sent back to colt they said it was fixed. Still falls off! anybody know what the problem may be?

    The plunger on a spring holds the thumb safey. Can you see both parts?

    Are you refering to the right side-left hand safety that is held in place by the right side stock /grip?

    Also, there should be a detent in the front face of the safety for the plunger to go into.

    Is the safety seated all the way in, not hung up on the plunger?
