Saying goodbye to an old friend

Well, it's time to make room for another Colt in my collection so I've decided to sell my old PP from 1908. This was the second Colt I bought over 10 years ago. Since I've got two PP snub noses now I thought I'd let this plain jane 4 incher go to a new home. But I thought I'd post some final pics of it here first.
Nice old gun but soon a .41 will be taking it's place in the safe

I'm okay with it. It was one of the first two Colts I ever owned that helped fuel the fire of Colt collecting. Maybe it will do the same for someone else

You won't look back. I sold my early 50's PP Special to buy a Walther PPK/S and haven't thought about it since until you wrote this. And I just love that .380. You have other stuff that suits your tastes and that .41 is much more interesting and way less common. We can't have everything that tickles our fancy so we make adjustments. I'm about 65% sure right now I'll sell my 1905 Colt Officer's Model here locally. But not until after I shoot again to really check it's accuracy.

Nope, even though its just a PP it's in too nice a condition to cut up. I listed it on GB today.
