Official Police 4", Colt collection's building!

I went down to my gun dealer's yesterday to pick up a German 1907 Dreyse I bought on GB. While I was doing the transfer, he mentions that he just got in a nice Colt OP. Seeing's how I don't have one, I became interested. Well, I couldn't bring it home without doing a multiple gun purchase form, so it has to wait 5 business days to come home to me. Looks like it is in pretty good shape!

So now I have 4 Colt revolvers.
    Malysh and pistola like this.

Nice gun Terry but ...um....there is no 5 day wait in Texas on multiple gun purchases with revolvers. I just talked to my FFL buddy to confirm. AR's yes and semi-auto's with detachable magazines. The dealer needs to fill out this "multiple firearm purchase form" if one was to buy 2 or more of the noted weapons within a 5 day period. Your OP isn't affected Happy Dayz bud.

Thanks Jeff! That's what I'm talking about, the multiple gun purchase form. I don't want to do that. Wait 5 days and no form. Gives me time to acquire some more money, too. Seems like I've been spending a lot lately!

Oh yeah, yesterday was my birthday, so I told the wife I need a birthday present.

Speaking of birthdays, I tried to remember the SN, but just remember 8xxxxx. So I guess it's between 1950 &1965.

Don't know too much about it yet, but they are cheap, and I have two now.

    Nice one.
Brought home a '61/'62 OP today. Police trade-in, sat at the SLCPD un-issued & unfired till it was sold off as surplus recently.
$450, because of various minor storage nicks & an inventory number electro-pencilled on the right side of the frame at some point.
Wanted a shooter anyway, so I'm quite happy.
Your price is probably about right.
    Denis
