Colt Grips ID and Other Things

Sorry that my first post has to be an ID this stuff post. I have bought out a Pawn Shop of all there gun grips (100+), most NOS and in boxes. Mostly Colt & Ruger. Some are NOT labeled and some loose Used Colt grips. My problem is I am not familiar with the different Colt models so I don't know what goes to what on the unlabeled grips. Do you mind if I post pic's for identification from the Colt members on the a few? Thanks!

    Colt Gun Grips ID

The first Colt Grip to ID, there's a hand written tag on the grip that says Colt cap & ball, I know for sure this grip has been in storage since the '70 and maybe before that. What model does it fit, is it a clone or the real thing? For the moment forget the Colt clone in the pic, more on that later. Thanks

The grips in post number 5 are a set of Third Type Colt Target grips for a Colt Python.
Check ended auctions on Ebay and the gun auction sites for what they're bringing, but these days a set of Third Type start at around $150 to $175.

    dfariswheel,
I would like to thank you for your post & info, just how I was hoping the info would flow! I can also see that you already know what I have to do with all these assorted grips. Like I said I bought out a Pawn shop of all the grips they had, NOS, used, clones and hopfully some originals, plan is to sell all to finance my first Colt whatever model that will be! Need to go fondle a few to see what fits me best. Thanks again, may have more later!
