Rare 1980 Twin Pythons 38 Specials NIB Never handled

    Good Evening,

First time poster to this site. It was recommended on another site to look here. I have 2 Colt Pythons that were purchased new in 1980 and NEVER taken out of the box or plastic. Since I have never posted to this site I am unsure of how to post pictures, but I did create a post and upload pictures to "Trapshooters.com I have enclosed a link below. At his time I am unsure of the value of the guns, but have been offered $3500 for the pair.

The guns are NIB 38 Special Pythons with 8 inch barrels. One is Blue and the other is Nickel.

I'd like to get your feedback on what these might be worth. My e-mail address is XXBigJGarrett01@aol.comXX drop the x's of course. I am new to the site and unsure about he navigation but if you reply to this post I am sure I will be able to follow. Below is teh link I was mentioning. This is NOT a BS claim and the guns are indeed real and a RARE find.

I was offered a NIB 38 special Nickel 8 inch (same nickel as you have) for $2800 about 2-3 months ago, I passed even though I believe it was a fair price. My buddy also has one (Nickel 8 inch 38 NIB) right now he told me (and a few others) he would sell for $3000 and still has it. I was offered a Blued 8 inch NIB 38 Special about 6 months ago for $2000 and I passed on it also but it too was a fair price at the time. Hope this helps some.

There are 2 Nickel ones on GunBroker - one has a buy it now of around $2,500.00 and the others buy it now price is at around $3,500.00 - So I would not sell both for $3,500. - Maybe $4,500.00 -
