    Thinking about a Fitz Special

I have been toying with the idea of picking up one of the cheap no-finish Police Positives on Gunbroker to make into a Fitz Special. My question is: if I get one of the .38S&W models could it be converted to fire 9mm Luger with moonclips? I have a lot of 9mm but not so much .38S&W. I have been thinking about this ever since I read somewhere or else about people shooting .38ACP and Super in Army Specials and Official Polices.

    Thanks for any information, 455Eley

Bad idea. Unless you want to blow the gun up then it's a great idea. Also, anyone that shoots 38 super in a 38 special is a complete idiot.
If I were you I would look for a beater Police Positive Special in .38 special to do this job to. Thats what I did when I made the snubbie pictured below. Before and after. $175 on Gunbroker:

Thanks Twaits, I'll do that then. That is a beautiful handgun by the way.
