“It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carry the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life, or death ---- it shall be life.” - Ten Bears - “The Outlaw Josey Wales”
Tony...I ask this because I really don't know the answer.
Is the ultimate STS finish shown on the Python above the same as the one on the KC.
I've seen a few pics of supposed Ultimate STS KC's that don't look any where near that shiny.
Tony.....Beautiful Python, I'd like to find one like it some day. Thanks for the help. In line with T.May's comment my KC is brighter and more polished than the standard stainless KC pic above but it doesn't quite "pop" like the Python does. Did Colt ever offer a polished but not as bright finish?
If you're not buying strictly for resale, here's how you should look at it. If you're happy with the gun and enjoy shooting it, then you got a great deal.
The West wasn't won with a registered gun.
Thanks to all for the replies and info. I intend to shoot the KC and enjoy.
