Hi Diuamondback68,
You might want to look at my reply to the "other Walker" that just surfaced in the revolver threads... I think you may have much the same problem as he has... JUST MY OPINION! Bob Best
I have been contacted by a man from Alaska that has a line on supposed real Walker. It has Company E on the backstrap and comes with several letters of authenticity from back in the 1970s. Believe me, I am no Walker expert.
Does anyone have a handle on or know of a contact (telephone, E-mail, etc) of someone I could put this guy in contact with that is much more knowledgeable on Walkers?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Dick

diamonback68 ~ I can give you contact information on several collectors knowledgable on Colt Walkers. I can be contacted by email at brit1941@yahoo.com.
The Texas Gun Collectors Association exhibited a display called the "Parade of Walkers 2003" at its Houston show in 2003 featuring a total of 59 Walkers and Whitneyville-Hartford Dragoons. These should be posted on the TGCA website, but they've dropped of because my software has become corrupt Fortunately they are still on my hard-drive ready to be reinstated.
Four (4) E Company revovers (#22, 32, 113 and 120) were represented in the Parade ~ perhaps the Alaskan gun is one of them? brit1941@yahoo.com

Thanks Bob Best and zulu6 for your help. I will pass this info along and maybe have him contact zulu6 direct, if that is ok with you. Thanks again, just trying to help a fellow collector out.
