I don't have the Wiley Clapp version, but I'll speak to the CCO model itself - likely the best 1911 version for CCW made! Shorter grip to reduce printing, but still plenty to hold and shoot effectively. Longer slide and sight radius. Outstanding gun that I've carried for years, shot a fair amount and even saved my bacon. I like bacon.

Not a Wiley Clapp, but if you want one with all the bells and whistles:

My Colt WC CCO here. I've put about 400 rounds through it since I bought it in the fall of 2015. It's been totally dependable with zero malfunctions, and it's nicely accurate. I changed the grips, the trigger, and the thumb safety, and since taking this photo I've also changed out the cast grip safety replacing it with one of better quality from SSA. my EDC for the past five years has been a Colt Defender in .45 ACP. I've carried this CCO a few days and it carries as well as the Defender. I also occasionally carry my XSE .38 Super Commander, and when I do I really notice the longer grip on the Commander.
When I decided I wanted a CCO in the price range of the Wiley Clapp, my choice came down to the Wiley or the Colt Gunsite CCO. I chose the WC due to the front strap checkering, no forward cocking serrations, and the polished flats on the slide.
