    U.S.Armament M1903 S/N 8

A year ago last March (16) Jake Nyman from U.S.Armament
ask me if I still wanted a early low serial number hammerless.
Yes, Yes, Yes said I. I was told a few might be available soon
so he would put me on the list. I ask if I could have S/N 8
he said perhaps but it is a tool room test gun and won't be
available for awhile. 6 months later Jake sent me a e-mail
saying number 8 was ready for me if I wanted it.
I ask if I had choice of finish I would like it blued.
2 more months passed until almost Christmas before I
heard back with done and done.
Do to the holidays they could not ship until January.
So whats a few more weeks after almost a year of waiting.

Today was my day. U.S. Armament made Colt M1903
serial number GOP0008 is now in its new home.
As I like to say, a most excellent pistol. I was not
sure of what I would get it being a "tool room" gun.
What I got was a new looking beautifully blued M1903.

Pictures here, but I'm sad to say the Magic stump is out for the Winter
so I'm back to crappy inside pictures....

    The Inside serial number, 8.

Two new in the box, one parked , one blued.
They will stay NIB as long as I own them.

Another one that was parked, hated it so I had it blued....

This is the one I shoot...
I also put on a set of older Colt factory grips.
It has become my favorite shooter.

    And now number -8-

I guess there is no hiding from the OCD now.

That's my story and I'm sticking too it.
