I have one 1908M and one 1908 .25 auto left Ei8ht - and you aren't getting them! ;):bang_wall::cool:

I got this package from Kid Sopris years ago. It has been professionally refinished; and is a great shooter. Now you know, Ei8ht, where that holster I gifted you came from! It was shipped to Von Lengerke & Antoine in Chicago. Here's another photo of it. The medals and ribbons are mine; not really impressive, but document my 30 years in the service.

MrColt45ACP, Is this the LEGEND from the YouTube Channel? If so, THANKS for the awesome & informative videos! I think I have watched just about every single one! It must be a pleasure to care for & handle such an absolutely stunning collection of Colt Autos. If you are not THE authority on them, I don't know who could be... other than JMB, himself!

Welcome!
David

Not to nitpick, but so you know, your pistol was most likely made in 1944 and not 1942. Those shipped in in 1942 were below serial number 559000 and the switch over to parkerized finish didn't occur until October of 1944. The Colt site is invariably wrong on serial numbers and most auction houses seem to like to use the 1942 date also (even when told its wrong).

Still a very nice U S property 1903.

Ei8ht.... Its all your fault! I'm about 7 years into my pistol disease & about 5 into my Colt disease. I have several 1911's including a WWI ca.-1916 , a Trooper MKIV, a .38acp Pocket Hammer, a .25 hammerless, a 3rd gen Woodsman Match Target, and an 1883 Artillery SAA. The plan was to concentrate...but NOW I guess I'm gonna put my toes in the 03' Hammerless water for '17! So much for concentrating!

You can now concentrate on the model M's.
It won't take long to gather a few together, they're small.
