Just purchased one. So as it stands now there is one left for sale. Heck figured it was worth the risk.

I wonder if they give you the box with these bad boys. Or do they chuck them when they are commissioned?

Just woke up and looked.. somebody else joined the gold club and claimed it

I don't see a new listing, so either that was that, or they may be waiting until things catch up on working hours to relist. I think some poeple may be watching now.

Come wrapped in a brown military T shirt thrown inside an empty ammo can.
That would be cool too.... I imagine the blue plastic Colt standard floor model boxes..
But I dint know. Just says Comes with letter and 1 Wilson mag.
So that's a very good question that I wanted to ask before buying but knew there was no time

6 sold since you posted the link...

Ok, let's speculate a little... IonBond started at roughly 10k. Subtract civilian production of say 3k (number completely pulled from a hat, but basing that on reported 80 per month for the custom shop version, with accelerated recent sales of the blue box gun), that leaves 7k Cerakote to .gov that were out there. If we assume these were only the Cerakote version that are being surplused, that leaves a lot still to come.

A former Colt employee has confirmed elsewhere they are the real deal.
Supposedly they will also come with letter from Colt confirming it.
Seller has sold at least a couple hundred in a little more than a day.
Down to 27 in this lot.

    Figured I'd share.
Yes these are real. USMC learned the hard way not a good idea to include in the RFP to industry the requirement to use of cerakote. It some cases it did not last 48 hours going in and out of a sand impregnated holster. Replacements are ion bond. If you want a USMC marked x or not one better get it...

This deal has been in the works for over a year. Going to get a great lightly used pistol in almost all cases except for the finish.

This actually was one reason I ponied up and bought one along with Gold membership. Along with other info, I figured GunBrokers best customers are the Gold members if there are 500 guns, does GB want to risk major problem with best customers if this turns out to be scam???
