    Novak rear sight screw

My new 1911 45 has the Novak rear sights. In front of the leaf is a hex-head screw that keeps working out. Haven't lost it yet but it has been pretty far out a couple of times. The schematics I have seen (including the one that came with the gun) do not show this sight.
Is this screw used to adjust the windage, then tightened back down? Should I put some fingernail polish or LocTite on it? What color of LocTite?
    Thanks

Sounds like a set screw, meant to be tightened and left alone to fix the sight in its dovetail.
Would suggest blue Loctite to start with.
