    Match Target sights

    I have an oppertunity to buy a Colt Match Target made in 1958. It is in very nice shape but I have doubts about its rear sights originality. It does not have an Elliason rear sight. I have a 1969 Match Target with box and papers -it has an Elliason sight. Where these sights standard on this model? I will get pix tomorrow.

    3rd series MT had Accro rear sight to about 208300-S (early 1965), Elliason thereafter.
