FYI: Unusual: Colt .380 "Colt First Edition", never heard of or saw one.

for a period back from around the late 80's into somewhere into the 90's colt issued a first edition series of several of their pistols, usually the first 1,000, but sometimes the first 500. there were first edition delta elites, double eagles, mustangs, government 380s, among others.
i have a first edition blue government 380 that came with a photo engraved gold scroll on the slide.
