    Question 01970a1ma

I seen a 01970A1MA serial nu. 119 of 911 NIB asking 1400 at a show this weekend. Do ya think a 70 series from the mid 70's almost NIB would go up in value more or less?

Thanks Paul45, I have the guys phone number, what would be the highest price anybody would offer for this gun? Or maybe I should buy a standard catalog 70 series remake? Or an original from 1970?? thanks in advance for any advise.

Deercop, Thats alot better price than the one i looked at, The dealer said gun was NIB, but I think someone ran a few mags threw it. The sellers at gun shows think most of their guns are NIB unless your selling to them.

They're nice-looking pistols, but in my opinion they were a case of "so close, yet so far". Instead of being true M1911A1 replicas TALO came up with a strange cross between a USGI .45 and a modern commercial Series 70. I almost bought one once, with the idea of swapping the commercial parts out for GI ones, then giving the whole thing a brush blue finish à la pre-war military. Then I realized how much it'd cost to do that, so I held off. If I found one for a good price I might be tempted, but $1400 is a bit much I think.
