It was made in the early 40's, probably 1943 or so. Value is entirely based on condition and originality, does it have the original match target clip, elephant ear grips, box, paperwork, etc.

Go to www.colt22.com for great information on woodsman. Use the online guide. Yours would have likely been made in 42 or 43. Does it have any stamps or markings that indicate military useage? What type of stocks? Value depends on type and condition. Good pictures might help.
