I thought I should get these pics in before 2012. This was last July. Charlene took his 1911 manufactured 1903 Pocket Hammerless out to celebrate it's 100th birthday. He shot a brand new box of ammo that was probably as old as the gun.

Did you really shoot the ammo ? If yes , I'm surprised it all fired . Also , the primers most likely contained mercury . Make sure you give it a good cleaning .
